Vidal set for new Juve deal
Club director Beppe Marotta says the Chilean deserves to be rewarded for his performances for the Bianconeri since joining the club two years ago

Juventus director Beppe Marotta has confirmed that he is set to offer Arturo Vidal a new contract at the club.

The Chilean midfielder has become an integral part of Antonio Conte's side since joining the club from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2011.

He has since attracted reported interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but the Bianconeri are eager to ensure that he commits his future to the club.

Marotta told Tuttosport: "Vidal arrived in Turin and the move was met with some scepticism. But he has done very well and now he should be rewarded.

"There have been big clubs in Europe interested in him, but in the coming weeks, his contract will be prolonged and economically adequate." Vidal's current contract at Juventus expires in 2016.
