The Liverpool striker was alleged to have taken
offence when a woman attempted to take photos of his Ferrari, but the
woman has decided against making a formal complaint
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that no further action will be taken against Mario Balotelli over allegations that the Liverpool forward used threatening behaviour towards a woman.
Balotelli reportedly took offence when the complainant took photos of his Ferrari in Wythenshawe on Thursday afternoon.
However, the matter has now been dropped after the unnamed woman decided against making a formal complaint to police.
An official statement read: "Police were called to Pewsey Road, Wythenshawe just after 3pm on Thursday 23 October 2014, following reports of threatening behaviour.
"Officers have since spoken to the complainant and no criminal offences were disclosed and no crime recorded. No further action will be taken."
