The newly-signed Colombian has revealed his desire to
win trophies at Stade Louis II and is delighted to be playing alongside
former Porto team-mate Radamel Falcao
Rodriguez, 21, who recently moved to the Principality along with Porto team-mate Joao Moutinho for a fee believed to be in the region of €60 million, is preparing for Colombia's encounter with Argentina in a World Cup qualifier on Friday.
But looking ahead to next season, being successful is already the focus.
He told reporters: "When you arrive at a new club, the goal is to win titles. I hope we will win titles."
Colombia are third in qualifying for Brazil 2014 and can close the gap on leaders Argentina with a victory on Friday.
It is another Colombian star, Falcao, who has joined the newly-promoted Monaco outfit from Atletico Madrid, who Rodriguez is seemingly most looking forward to once again playing alongside.
He added: "Playing with a friend is always good. I hope we will achieve great things with Monaco."
Falcao completed his €60m move to Claudio Ranieri's side last Friday.
