Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has welcomed Neymar to Europe, expressing his excitement at the highly rated youngster's move to Barcelona.
The 21-year-old Brazil international was unveiled to the Liga champions' fans on Monday after completing a €57m switch from boyhood club Santos.
Neymar has long been tipped as the most exciting prospect in world football, since making his senior international debut as an 18-year-old, and has notched 20 goals in just 33 apperances for Selecao.
"Good luck to @Njr92 on the next stage of ya career! Lets see u dazzle Europe now!" Ferdinand posted on Twitter.
Real Madrid were also heavily linked with a move for Neymar, with both Liga giants having bids accepted for the Brazilian, but the Blaugrana eventually won the race for his signature.
