Sacchi a disgrace to all Italians for 'too many blacks' comment - Raiola
The agent is disgusted with comments made by the former Italy coach and says it portrays the country's football in a bad light

Mino Raiola has hit out at Arrigo Sacchi in the wake of the legendary coach's controversial comments regarding black players.

The former AC Milan and Italy boss claimed on Monday that Italian football has lost its identity because there are too many black players in the various youth teams.

Sacchi has since insisted that he is not racist, but Raiola - who represents players such as Paul Pogba, Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic among others - is not impressed with the 68-year-old's remarks.

"There are too many ignorant people in power in Italian football. That's why we're in the sh*t," the agent tweeted.

"I feel ashamed to be Italian when I hear Sacchi's comments. What a figure he makes...

"There are no foreigners in this world, only people. Sport should be open to all those who want play and are the best at it."

Raiola then went on to voice his support to players of all ethnicities and stressed everybody should be treated the same.

"Come on everybody, come on all coloured players, black, white, yellow, red and all other colours.

"One earth, one mankind."

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Mario Balotelli were subjected to racist chants during their time in Serie A, while FIGC president Carlo Tavecchio also made the headlines when he was punished for racist comments in 2014.
