Hernanes calms talk of Inter crisis
The Brazilian midfielder believes the Nerazzurri will soon be a force to reckoned with after a difficult period

Inter midfielder Hernanes has calmed talk of a crisis at San Siro and insists the club just need time to build a new side.

Walter Mazzarri's men sit eighth in the table after the first eight games of the campaign, prompting speculation over the future of the club's coach.

Nevertheless, Hernanes sees plenty of reasons for optimism and believes things will soon improve.

"The fans must be patient; it's been a delicate time for the club. A lot has changed. Let’s not regret the past; we can build a successful future," Hernanes said at a press conference.

"We need to support the team whilst it’s finding its feet. The fans must believe in us, have faith and make an effort. We're doing all we can to take Inter to the very top. We’ve shown that we could take control of a difficult situation and come through it.

"The team has only been together for three months; it will take a bit of time but we are growing as a group. I think we've played well and I can't see any big problems."

Inter will be looking to extend their domestic unbeaten run to three games when they take on Sampdoria on Wednesday after a win over Cesena and a draw versus Napoli in recent weeks.
