Seedorf: Taarabt is not Milan's saviour
The Dutchman has made it clear that no-one is untouchable at the San Siro side and has laughed off suggestions that he has fallen out with Adriano Galliani

AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf has defended his decision to drop Adel Taarabt from the starting XI for the 1-1 draw against Lazio at the weekend and has stressed that the Morocco international is not the Rossoneri's saviour.

The QPR loanee made a bright start to life at Milan following his January transfer, but the Dutchman has made it clear that nobody is untouchable at the San Siro side.

"There's not a single player who will never miss a game. I made a decision to leave Taarabt out," Seedorf said at a press conference.

"He started very well at Milan, but we cannot expect him to be the club's saviour. We have a lot of quality up front and no one is untouchable.

"Adel could start again versus Fiorentina on Wednesday."

Seedorf then went on to discuss rumours that he has fallen out with Adriano Galliani and he insisted that he does not have any problems with the Rossoneri CEO.

"There has never been any tension or problem between Galliani and me.

"We communicate on a normal level and try to do what's best for Milan."
