Osvaldo overjoyed by Juventus move: I used to pay to watch Tevez play
The Buenos Aires-born Italy international is a childhood Boca Juniors fan and says that he would often watch his new team-mate in action at la Bombonera

New Juventus signing Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has admitted that he cannot believe he will get the opportunity to line up alongside Carlos Tevez, revealing that he used to pay to watch the Argentina star play.

The Buenos-Aires born Italy international has joined the Bianconeri on loan from Southampton until the end of the season, but with the option of a permanent move to Turin in the summer.

Osvaldo says he is now living a dream in that he should soon have the opportunity to partner a hero of his in attack for Juve.

"I supported Boca since I was a kid and when I was in Argentina I used to pay to watch him play," the 28-year-old striker told reporters on Friday.

"So being in the same squad as him now is fantastic."

It has been reported that Osvaldo arrived in Turin out of condition, having been suspended by Southampton for a training-ground incident, but the striker says that it merely took him some time to get used to coach Antonio Conte's intensive training sessions and that he now hopes to remain at Juve beyond the summer.

"In the first few, I struggled a little, partly because you run a lot with this coach," the former Roma forward explained. "But it's only a question of getting used to it.

"Conte is a phenomenon. He is so prepared and demands a lot, but then you can see the results on the field.

"This is a great squad and one that plays beautiful football. To be at Juve is a dream and I want it to continue."
