The Brazilian, who has missed Barcelona's last eight games after injuring his ankle against Getafe, has been included in the squad for Saturday's encounter

Barcelona attacker Neymar has been declared fit for Saturday's La Liga encounter with Rayo Vallecano.

The Brazil international has been sidelined since the 2-0 win away to Getafe on January 16 after badly spraining his ankle in the first half of the Copa del Rey clash.

Having missed the Blaugrana's previous eight matches, the 22-year-old is now poised to make his comeback after being included in coach Gerardo Martino's squad for this weekend's fixture.

"Tomorrow we'll resolve how best to insert Neymar [into the team]," Martino said at a press conference.

"He looks good, I've never seen him in a bad mood. I don't see any effect from matters outside of sport.

"He has a lot of qualities and will do well in any position."

Neymar has scored 11 goals in all competitions to date for Barcelona since his controversial €57.1 million move from Santos last summer.

Barca currently sit top of La Liga, level on points with title rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
