Inter can trouble any team, says Mazzarri

The Nerazzurri coach is optimistic about his side's chances of having a successful Serie A campaign as long as they keep their feet on the ground

Walter Mazzarri believes Inter have the quality to cause any team in Serie A problems as long as they remain focused.

The Nerazzurri beat Hellas Verona 4-2 at the weekend to return to winning ways after disappointing results against Cagliari, Roma and Torino.

And Mazzarri is hopeful they will add three more points to their tally against Atalanta on Tuesday and Udinese on Sunday.

"As long as we're careful and focused we can cause problems for anyone," the Inter boss said at a press conference.

"Atalanta have always been a tough team to beat, but not only for Inter. We must be totally focused. Tuesday is another test for us to see how far we've come. The next two games will tell us a lot about where we're going.

"I'm delighted with the way the lads have taken everything on board. I look not just at the results, but how we play and I'm happy."

Inter currently sit fourth in Serie A with 18 points from nine games.
