The Italy international was shocked by his side's
sudden collapse in the second half and feels Juventus have been lacking a
bit of focus
Andrea Barzagli has voiced his frustration with Juventus' 4-2 Serie A defeat at the hands of Fiorentina on Sunday and was unable to explain what went wrong for the reigning champions as they threw away a two-goal lead after the break.
The Bianconeri appeared to be on their way to the full three points after goals from Carlos Tevez and Paul Pogba, but eventually left the Stadio Artemio Franchi empty-handed after a hat-trick from Giuseppe Rossi and a Joaquin strike.
"I honestly don’t know how to explain what just happened," the defender told Sky Sport Italia.
"We dominated the game, coming close to scoring a third goal, but before we knew it we found ourselves 3-2 down. There weren’t even signs of a potential Fiorentina comeback.
"Unfortunately we’re paying the price this year. It’s not as if we’re allowing our opponents more shots on goal compared to last season, but we’re always punished.
"We’re 99 per cent focused, but clearly this isn’t enough."
Juventus will be looking to return to winning ways in Wednesday's Champions League match away against Real Madrid.
