The young attacker is confident that his good
performances with the Spain Under-21 side will not have gone unnoticed
with head coach Carlo Ancelotti
Alvaro Morata is optimistic about his future at Real Madrid and believes head coach Carlo Ancelotti is keeping a close eye on his progress.
The 20-year-old has been in fine form at international level, netting five goals in his last two games for Spain's Under-21 side and he has little doubt Ancelotti will have noticed his impressive performances.
"I'm sure Ancelotti will have seen the Spain Under-21 games and kept a close eye on me, Jese (Rodriguez), (Daniel) Carvajal and [Fernando] Pacheco," Morata told AS.
"I have no doubt that he has seen us play and is taking us into consideration for his next team selection. It's up to us to keep on working.
"People are always talking about Madrid signing other attackers, but I will just try and do my best to show that I am good enough to play for Madrid and so will Jese."
Morata has made one Liga appearance for Madrid so far this term.
