Some sections of the Spanish press have suggested that Bale's arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu has put Ronaldo's nose out of joint. Indeed, Real Madrid have denied that they paid more for the Welshman than they did for the Portuguese, reportedly to keep their star man happy.
But the former Manchester United man looks more than pleased to greet his new team-mate ahead of training.
