The 24-year-old midfielder, who shone for Brazil at
the Confederations Cup, is set to complete his move to White Hart Lane
after undergoing medical tests in London
Tottenham will officially announce the signing of Paulinho in the next 24 hours, with the Corinthians midfielder set to undergo a medical in London.
Dailyspotsnews revealed in June that the two clubs had agreed a €20 million deal, but confirmation was put on hold until after the Selecao's involvement in the Confederations Cup.
But the north Londoners are now ready to unveil the 24-year-old, who was a key part of the Timao side that won last season's Copa Libertadores and Club World Cup.
He also played a starring role as Brazil triumphed in the Confederations Cup on home turf, beating Spain 3-0 in the final.
The transfer presents Paulinho with a second crack at European football, following short spells in Lithuania with Vilnius and Poland with Lodz.
