The Juventus playmaker has dismissed reports that the
Swede could disrupt the harmony in the dressing room and has nothing
but praise for his former team-mate
Andrea Pirlo would welcome Zlatan Ibrahimovic with open arms if the striker were to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Juventus.
The Italy international played alongside the PSG star at AC Milan in 2010-11 when the San Siro side cruised to the Serie A title and Pirlo has fond memories of his time with Ibrahimovic.
"Ibrahimovic is a great champion. He is not someone who divides the dressing room," Pirlo told reporters at the presentation of his biography.
"Wherever he went, he won trophies. I don't think you can say that he did any damage anywhere then..."
The former Barcelona attacker has developed into a key player at PSG since joining the club at the start of the season, but several reports suggest that he has set his sights on a return to Serie A.
Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola recently stated that the striker has not asked him to start looking for a new club yet, but Juventus are closely monitoring his situation in the French capital as they are ready to pounce once the striker decides to leave.
His current contract with PSG runs until the summer of 2015.
