The former Brazil coach believes the Santos star
needs to leave South America and claims that he has been speaking to
friends about moving to Europe
Brazil technical director Carlos Alberto Parreira has called on Neymar to leave Santos and move to play his football in Europe.
The 21-year-old has repeatedly been linked with some of the biggest names in Europe, with Barcelona and Real Madrid still the favourites to secure his signature.
And the former Selecao boss believes the time has come for the forward to leave his homeland and take the next step.
"Neymar must leave Brazil. It's good for his career and his personal life," he told Esports COPE.
"Neymar has a big future, very large. I am very confident he will do very well."
The 70-year-old also revealed that the player is growing restless in his native country and is hoping to finally obtain a move to a European powerhouse.
"Neymar himself has told friends he is tired and wants out of Brazil."
