The former Spain international has voiced his admiration for the prolific attacker and thinks he will not leave the Bernabeu any time soon
Real Madrid icon Raul has taken the time to praise Cristiano Ronaldo and expects the Portugal international to remain with the Santiago Bernabeu side for the foreseeable future.
Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes revealed on Friday that the prolific attacker's future at the Blancos is uncertain amid ongoing reports that Paris Saint-Germain are keen to lure the 28-year-old away from his current club.
Nevertheless, Raul expects his former team-mate to stay at the Spanish giants and shared his respect for a player whom he believes is a truly world class attacker.
"He is at Real Madrid now and I think his future is there too. But it's ultimately up to him," the current Al Sadd attacker told Le 10 Sport.
"Cristiano is a top player and a top professional. I spent a year alongside him and I'm full of admiration for him."
Ronaldo has a contract with Madrid until the summer of 2015.
