The Saint-Etienne forward has been in sensational
form in Ligue 1 this season, but he has his sights set on a move abroad
for the time being
Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hinted at interest in a move abroad, while claiming he is not currently interested in a switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old has been something of a revelation in Ligue 1 this season, firing 19 goals in 34 appearances, but the Gabon forward has suggested he would be tempted to ply his trade in La Liga, the Premier League or the Bundesliga.
"Since I've played football, I've always loved La Liga," he was quoted as saying by Le Parisien. "But I do not have a preference for my future.
"Everyone knows English football. The Bundesliga could be a good destination. PSG? Not necessarily, even if there had been contact.
"Paris is a big project. Could I be part of that? Perhaps one day. But I don't think so for now."
Aubameyang, who still has three years to run on his contract, joined Saint-Etienne on a permanent deal from AC Milan in December 2011.
