Sneijder: I'm happy at Galatasaray

The attacking midfielder is pleased with the way things are going for him at the Turkish powerhouse after struggling in the early weeks after his winter move

Wesley Sneijder has made it clear he is happy with life at Galatasaray after a difficult start at the Turkish champions.

The Netherlands international joined the Istanbul giants from Inter in the January transfer window and initially struggled to live up to the high expectations.

Nevertheless, Sneijder is slowly starting to find his feet at Cimbom and he is pleased with the way thiings are going at Galatasaray.

"Expectations were really high in the beginning. Not just at the club, but from my side, too," the Dutchman was quoted as saying by Algemeen Dagblad.

"It was rather difficult. Everything was new and I was not used to the formation we played.

"I'm feeling really at home now, though, and I am happy here."

Sneijder has netted three goals in 11 league appearances for Gala so far.
