A total of 196 media channels, 140 of them international, will gather to cover the first-leg clash of the Champions League quarterfinals.

More than 900 media professionals are authorised for the Real Madrid-Galatasaray match

A total of 912 media professionals from around the world have been authorised to cover the Real Madrid-Galatasaray clash. In all, 196 media channels, 140 of them international, will be represented as they cover the first-leg match of the Champions League quarterfinals. Journalists and members of the print media from Europe, China, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, the United States, Colombia, Africa and the United Arab Emirates will descend upon the Santiago Bernabeu for the match. 

The interest generated by the clash, which will be covered by journalists representing four of the five continents, was made clear at the last training session of the team coached by Jose Mourinho, which was attended by over a hundred media professionals. The impact of the match is such that 41 commentators - 30 from television and 11 from radio - will provide live coverage of the game.
