Vilanova could return for PSG, says Roura

  • Vilanova could return for PSG trip

  • Barcelona assistant coach Jordi Roura says Tito Vilanova could travel with the squad for the Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Vilanova returned to Catalunya this week following a lengthy period of treatment in the USA, after he suffered a cancer relapse at the end of 2012.
Although Roura admits it is too soon for the 44-year-old to travel with the squad for the weekend clash with Celta Vigo, he has hinted that he could journey to the French capital on April 2.
"We have to wait yet. He could travel with us to Paris," he told reporters at a press conference.

"His return is extremely important for us. This is a shot at happiness and vitality.

"Today, he will stay at the training ground, but he won't travel to Vigo."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been cleared to play against the Blaugrana after his suspension was overturned by Uefa, but Roura has warned there is far more to the Ligue 1 leaders than the Sweden star.

"PSG is a very dangerous opponent. They have Ibrahimovic and much more," he said.

With the Catalan club currently 13 points clear at the top of the table, is is likely they will rest a number of international stars ahead of the clash with PSG, but Roura insists he expects the same commitment from each of his players.

"It doesn't matter what team plays, they will give 100 per cent. Our players will demonstrate why they are in our team," he added.
